Bettie was born and raised in Surprise, Arizona and recently moved to Tucson to pursue her education at the University of Arizona. She completed her Veterinary Assisting program from West-MEC in May 2021 and has also obtained her Associate's Degree in Biological Sciences from EMCC.  She is now in the process of finishing her Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Sciences and will soon be applying to doctorate programs to follow her dreams of becoming a veterinarian. When she is not at school or work, Bettie enjoys traveling, painting, hiking, and spending time with her family, friends and four cats.
